The Suva Senior Rugby team and their U20 side spent their bye week from the Skipper Cup Competition giving back to the community by conducting a clean up campaign from Albert Park to the Nasese foreshore at the FRCS Building.

Suva U20 Team Manager, Ulaiasi Butukoro says part of their objective was to raise awareness on the environment, keeping it clean and ensuring that we take care of our livelihoods.

Butukoro further says this is because the sea, land and air are part of our well-being.

He says it was also an opportunity for the players and management to bond and get to know their families.

The Team Manager is urging everyone to be mindful of their environment and to pick up rubbish when they see it so that we keep our city and country clean.

This week Suva will play Nadi in Round 3 of the Skipper Cup Competition at the HFC Bank Stadium.
