Ba Legends came from behind to hold Suva Masters to a 3-all draw in their 3rd Taito Bula Memorial Cup match at the Ba Methodist School ground this afternoon.

Suva scored three goals in the first half through former Ba district rep Ronald Lawrence, who scored two goals, and Manoa Masi while Ba scored a goal through former Nadroga and Suva rep Mohammed Zikar to trail 3-1 at the break.

Former Suva and Nadi rep Micheal Maharaj scored twice for Ba Legends to help them claim the draw.

Ba Legends is coached by former national and Ba rep Ravuama Madigi while former national and and Suva rep Meli Debalevu is coaching Suva Masters.

The Suva Masters team defeated Ba Masters 2-1 in 2022 and drew 1-1 last year.

Meanwhile, parts of the funds raised through sponsorships and fundraising efforts by both teams will go to the family of the late Taito Bula, a former national and Ba striker, who passed away in 2022.
