The Methodist Church in Fiji is calling on people to end their conspiracy theories, stop circulating negative and evil comments and posts about the COVID-19 vaccine on social media. The Church General Secretary, Reverend Iliesa Naivalu says the vaccine is not evil and we should not circulate such lies as this creates fear amongst the people.

Reverend Naivalu says these lies are an attempt by those who do not want to get vaccinated and those who are dwelling on the conspiracies.

He says people should go and get vaccinated.

Reverend Naivalu says there is millions of evidence around the world that shows that the COVID-19 vaccine, AstraZeneca is safe.
