Community Covid-19 Response teams in Delainavesi.

In a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19, majority of the families in Delainavesi in Lami have taken extra precautions by stopping people from coming close to their houses and even their neighbouring shops.

A resident of Delainavesi, Katarina Donato says a small community in their area called Ravitaki has stopped everyone from entering their area.

Donato says this community have their own shop.

She says there are a few shops in Delainavesi and people are just allowed to go to the shop closest to their homes.

Donato says their relationship with their neighbours is not the same and they know it is for the greater good.

She says everything is not the same even when they go out and they also still see some not following the COVID-19 guidelines.

Donato says they can see people struggling because they do not have work and are just surviving on what little things that they have.
