Solomoni Nata has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the i-Taukei Land Trust Board for a period of two years following his successful tenure as the Interim CEO over the past year.

This was confirmed by the Chairman of the iTaukei Land Trust Board and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu who says the Board has observed significant advancements under Nata’s leadership over the past year.

Vasu says they are confident in Nata’s ability to continue driving TLTB towards greater achievements and fulfilling the Board’s mandate more effectively.

He says Nata has made significant contributions to the reviews of laws and policies impacting the iTaukei people and his efforts have helped to restore trust and strengthen relationships with chiefs and landowners.

He adds Nata has bolstered the corporate framework, enhancing job security and capacity building for management and staff through comprehensive job evaluations.

Vasu says his initiatives also include adopting new policies, diversifying investments for landowners, and facilitating the acquisition of TLTB buildings in various regions, among other achievements.
