Following recent heavy rain, several roads and crossings in the Northern Division have been flooded and are currently inaccessible.
The Fiji Roads Authority have urged all drivers and people to exercise caution while travelling.
Affected areas include Qelemumu Low Level Crossing (Qelemumu Road, Wainikoro), Narailagi Low Level Crossing (Narailagi Road, Seaqaqa), Konasami Low Level Crossing (Dreketilailai Road, Bulileka, Labasa), Zailav Low Level Crossing (Zailav Road, Batiri, Seaqaqa) and several other low-level crossings and roads in Labasa and Savusavu.
FRA says most of these areas are closed to traffic, while Nagigi Flat in Wainikoro Road, Labasa is accessible to 4WD and heavy vehicles only.
The Soasoa stretch remains open, though water levels are rising.
Drivers are advised to adhere to all traffic signs and management measures and maintain designated speed limits.
The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
