Shyam Murti and 7-year-old Chirag Murti.

Today is the seventh day of search and there are still no leads on the missing 7-year-old, Chirag Murti of Qila Settlement in Taveuni.

Chirag’s father, Shyam Murti says his son’s disappearance is out of character as he never went out of the compound.

He adds his heart says that his son is still alive and he will not lose hope.

Murti is pleading with the public to come forward if they have any information that will help them find their son.

He told fijivillage that his son who cannot speak was alone at the back while his other twin brother, sister and an older brother were playing in the front compound.

He says his wife went to cut coconut leaves and came back after about half an hour and realised that Chirag was missing.

Murti says his son was wearing a red t-shirt and blue shorts.

Chirag was last seen at his home in Qila, Taveuni around mid-day on Friday, 12th November.

If you have information that could locate 7-year-old Chirag Murti then please call the Taveuni Police Station on 888 0222.
