Some of the players who are currently part of the extended squad including Apisai Koroisau, Joe Lovodua, the Sims brothers, the Saifiti Brothers, Viliame Kikau, Tui Kamikamica, Kane Evans, Kevin Naiqama, Marcelo Montoya, Isaac Lumelume, Maika Sivo, Semi Valemei, Waqa Blake, Taane Milne, Mikaele Ravalawa, Pio Seci, Braydon Wakeham, Sitiveni Moceidreke and Sunia Turuva.

The Rugby League World Cup will be held in England from October to November.

The Fiji Bati is pooled with the Australian Kangaroos, Scotland and Italy.
