The Ministry of Education says schools in Fiji will now reopen on the 21st of June.

The Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong had earlier said we have to accept this is a time of war and during these times schools and businesses close down and everybody has to find another way of functioning until the war is over.

He said the Education Ministry has asked them for passes so that they can set up online strategies for carrying out the classes and this has been granted.
