Sangam convention depicts unity, sacrifice and love for the organisation - Prof. Prasad

The Sangam convention is one of the largest gatherings we see in Fiji which depicts its testimony, unity, sacrifice and the love of the organisation that people have.

While speaking during the closing ceremony of the 95th Sangam Annual Convention Deputy Prime Minister Professor Biman Prasad says the history of Sangam and its contribution is not only in the field of education but is also in the National Development.

He says as a government they are deeply committed to engaging with all Non-governmental Organisations, supporting organisations and the people of Sangam organisation for having foresight and the ability to run educational institutions throughout the country.

Professor Prasad says Sangam nursing schools make a significant contribution to human resource development in the area of health therefore, the government is pleased to support that.

The Deputy Prime Minister encourages people to take the Sangam organisation to new heights.

Professor Prasad also acknowledged Y.P Reddy for his contribution towards the Sangam organisation.
