The Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji is urging all Sanatan followers to exercise discretion when purchasing processed fruit drinks as it has come to attention that Golden Circle apple juice contains alcohol-based flavours and clarifying agents sourced from beef.
Sabha General Secretary Krishneel Tiwari says they say this information has been confirmed by the Consumer Care Representative of the Kraft Heinz Company, located at Kings Street, Hashtings, 4122 New Zealand.
He says people need to take appropriate precautions to avoid consuming products that may raise doubts or concerns as it is important to adhere the dietary restrictions and beliefs.
The Sabha is encouraging people to stay informed about the contents of the products they consume.
