Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain Tevita Ikanivere

Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain Tevita Ikanivere knows the challenge ahead of them today will not be easy as they are coming up against Samoa, a team that has always been tough to play against over the years.

When asked by fijivillage News if he feels any pressure captaining the Flying Fijians side in front of their home fans, Ikanivere says pressure has always been a thing for every sport and it is going to be a challenge for him but he is just looking forward to it.

Meanwhile, coach Mick Byrne says Samoa will be banking on their big forwards to do the job for them.

Byrne says the Flying Fijians have got the players to counter the physicality around that area.

The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 6pm this eveing at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
