Salah’s goal saves Liverpool from an opening defeat

Mohammed Salah scored in the 80th minute to hold newly promoted Fulham to a 2-all draw.

Serbian Aleksandar Mitrović scored the first goal for the host in the 32nd minute as Fulham led 1-0 at half time.

Darwin Núñez equalised before Mitrović shot a penalty to give Fulham a 2-1 lead.

In other games played this morning, Chelsea defeat Everton 1-0.

In a game played earlier yesterday Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 2-0.
