Saint John’s College students tackle climate change

Climate change is one of the biggest challenge that is currently faced by small islands in the Pacific and students of Saint John’s College in Levuka are already taking responsibilities on it.
From five and form three students are working on the school shore by planting mangroves and covering gaps on shores by big rocks.
School Principal Father Ekuasi Manu said that students have realized the importance of conserving the environment as there is an increase in number of international students.
Father Manu added that Government assisted the school with 200 double beds as the school roll increased from 448 last year to 550 this year.
