The Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public, especially those living in Tubarua Village, Upper Serua villages (Naimasimasi Village, Waibogi, Wainadiro and Naqesa Settlement, Nuku Secondary School) that roads to these areas will be closed this Sunday from 9am to 1pm due to culvert replacement works that will be taking place on Beqa Road.

They are also advising members public living in Namaqumaqua Village, that there will also be road closure along Namaqumaqua Road next Sunday, 14th April due to culvert extension works taking place on Namaqumaqua Road, Navua.

The FRA says the road will be closed from 9am to 3pm.

They say during this period, public transportation services, including bus services and hotel transports, will cease operations along these routes, however, they will be allowed to continue their services up to the section of the road that is unaffected by the roadwork.

They are urging those affected to please make necessary arrangements for alternative transportation from the villages to the section of the road where the road workers will be present to guide them.
