Consumers will have to fork out more for liquid milk and other dairy products from later today.

The new price of liquid milk will see the local packet of milk which is the white packet costing $2.73 while the imported brands will cost $3.00 a litre.

The prices for yoghurt, cheese and fun flavour have also gone up.

However the good news is that the price of Rewa Butter and Rewa Powdered Milk will not increase.

Commerce Commission CEO Bobby Maharaj said they only regulated three products at the Fiji Dairy Co operative Limited which are butter, liquid milk and powdered milk.
