Residents in some parts of Nausori experienced hail this afternoon.
Marisela Ranadi Rokovaka of Kasavu says they were shocked when it started to hail at around 2.30 this afternoon.
She says after 20 minutes of hail it started to rain and they experienced thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Meteorological Service says they have not received any report but are trying to investigate the matter.
However, they say it can be due to thunderstorms, increase in freezing level and when the liquid particles in the rain does not completely melt and comes down as solid particles in the form of hail.
