Eastern Zone Under 18 Deans champion Ratu Kadavulevu School is expecting the Marist Brothers High School brigade to come out firing as they look to end their 44-year Deans drought.

RKS Principal, Ilaisa Waqalala says this is a do-or-die contest for all the schools and they are not taking Marist lightly.

Waqalala also confirms that top coach Naca Saumi is looking after their Under 18 team as he builds their mental, physical and spiritual strength.

RKS is unbeaten coming into the national quarter final this weekend. The only time that they were tested was against Queen Victoria School in Matavatucou where they won 8-5.

They went on to win the Eastern Zone where they beat QVS 17-6.

Meanwhile, Waqalala says five of their players have been named in the Junior Bati squad to tour New Zealand.

The RKS U18s will take on Marist at 3.30pm Saturday in the last quarter final.

In the other quarters, QVS will play Natabua at 11.20am, Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute will meet Nasinu Secondary School at 10am while Suva Grammar School will play Lelean Memorial School at 12.50pm.

All games will be played at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Meanwhile, RKS will also feature in the Under 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19 quarter-finals.
