RKS and Tailevu North lead boys and girls Tailevu Zone

Tailevu North and RKS athletes in action at the Suva Zone 1 today

Ratu Kadavulevu School and Tailevu North College are currently leading the fijivillage medal tally for the boys and girls division respectively at the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone currently underway at the HFC Bank Stadium.

RKS is leading the boys division with 13 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze, QVS is second with 3 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze, while Tailevu North College is third with 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze.

In the girls division, Tailevu North College is leading with 11 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze, Wainibuka Secondary School is second with 4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, and Naiyala High School is third with 2 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze.

Meanwhile, RKS and QVS dominated the finals of the boys 400 metres in all grades this morning.

In the Sub Junior final, RKS took out gold and silver while QVS settled for bronze.

QVS had a clean sweep in the junior boys final scooping gold, silver and bronze, while RKS took out the gold medal in the intermediate boys with QVS scooping silver and bronze.

In the much anticipated senior boys 400 metres final, RKS again scooped gold with QVS settling for silver and bronze.
