Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has been assured by the RFMF Commander Major-General Jone Kalouniwai, that there will be stability in the nation.

He shared this message during the Rewa Provincial Council Meeting that was held at Navuso Agricultural Training Institute, where the RFMF Commander was also present.

Rabuka also urged the people of Rewa to work with their leaders in ensuring the laws of the nation is followed.

He says last week, the US Embassy released a travel alert for its citizens travelling to Fiji, warning them about areas prone to crimes.

The Prime Minister says this type of alert results in fewer tourists coming into the country, and at the end of the day, it affects the economy as a whole.

Rabuka is urging parents, guardians and traditional leaders to ensure that children and youths from their province are well-advised on their values before they move to the cities and towns to further their careers.

The Prime Minister also promised the people of Rewa that whatever programs and initiatives were announced in the national budget, they will carry them out.
