The need to provide better access to quality education for children across the Lau Province is the foundation of the Lau Charitable Trust.

The Lau Charitable Trust says in that regard they will be holding an Island Night Gala at the Vodafone Arena at 5pm today.

They say their gala aims to raise funds for ongoing projects and programs dedicated to supporting children in the 72 villages across Lau Province.

The chair of the event committee, Dr. Priscilla Puamau says the generous support of their donors and partners will enable them to continue making a tangible difference in the lives of children and communities across the region.
