Public consultation on the review of GCC to start tomorrow in Nadi

The first GCC meeting after it was disbanded in 2007, will be held on Bau Island on the 24th and 25th of this month

Public consultation on the review of the Great Council of Chiefs will begin this week in the Western Division.

The GCC Review Team will be led by Doctor Jone Baledrokadroka and include 6 members; Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua, Dr Eci Nabalarua, Graham Leung, Malakai Naiyaga, Mereani Rokotuibau and Dr Apisalome Movono.

The Review Committee will start their consultation tomorrow at St Michael Catholic Hall in Nadi from 9.30am to 4pm, then they will move to Lautoka Cane Growers Council on Wednesday from 9.30am to 4pm, and on Thursday, the committee will be at Ba Civic Centre from 9.30am to 4pm.

The consultation will continue next week, starting on Tuesday at Ro Kuruduadua House in Navua from 9.30am to 4pm.

On Wednesday, the team will be at the Nahigatoka Community Hall in Sigatoka from 9.30am to 4pm, and on Thursday, they will be at the Dadamu Hall in Nanukuloa, Ra, from 9.30am to 4pm.
