The price of Rewa butter has increased.

The Commerce Commission said the price of a quarter pound of Rewa butter in the urban centres in Viti Levu has increased by 45 cents and will now cost $2.30.

The price of a half pound of butter has increased by 86 cents with the new price of $4.55 while the 1 pound packet increased by $1.61 with the new price of $8.95.

In the urban centres in Vanua Levu, the price of a quarter pound of Rewa butter has increased by 54 cents which will now cost $2.44.

The price of a half pound has increased by $1.04 with the new price of $4.82 while the 1 pound packet increased by $1.96 with the new price of $9.48.

The Commerce Commission said the price has increased due to the increase in raw material costs.
