Police have questioned and released three crew members of the FV Tiro 2 where a crew member was allegedly murdered, as the Crime Officers try to establish what transpired on board the vessel.

Police Spokesperson Savaira Tabua says their investigations continue on the allegations that a murder happened on board the vessel last Monday about 90 miles west of Navula Passage outside of Momi Bay.

It is alleged that the eight crew members had jumped overboard after the alleged murder took place.

Police say they can only confirm all the information after their investigations conclude.

Meanwhile, the Commander of Fiji Navy Captain Humphrey Tawake says the RFNS Savenaca is out at sea conducting the search for two Fijians and three Indonesian nationals.
