22 senior residents residing at the Valelevu Hart Community were so happy to meet 25 staff from the Fiji Police Force Department of Registry and Records, who held a clean-up campaign at their community.

The clean-up was led by Manager for Registry and Records Assistant Superintendent of Police Devika Narayan.

ASP Narayan first discovered about the hart after she assisted one of the elderly residents with her groceries last Saturday.

She says the elderly was waiting for a cab and she offered to assist her.

She adds the elderly informed her that she was from Valelevu Hart Community and after she help her carry her groceries to her home, she felt like doing more and they came up with this initiative.

Valelevu Hart Community Matron, Sereima Rabi thanked the officers for taking out their time to clean the senior residents.
