A Police internal investigation is underway to find out how a man charged with allegedly possessing cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana was released without getting bail from court.
Thakor Punja, the son of a prominent businessman is charged with three counts of being found in possession of illicit drugs.
The discoveries were made in the his vehicle and home in Lami on Sunday morning.
The matter was called on Tuesday and again on Wednesday where Punja has been granted bail.
The case has been adjourned to the 5th of June for plea.
