Police assure fans attending Deans finals in Lautoka that security has been beefed up

Police have assured fans and family members who will attend the Vodafone Super Deans final in Lautoka that all efforts are being directed to ensure they can enjoy the rugby finals and make it an incident-free event.

Chief Operations Officer, ACP Abdul Khan, the Divisional Police Commander West Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tomu Bulimaibau and senior Western Divisional Managers met with officials and managers of the Vodafone Super Deans ahead of the finals tomorrow.

ACP Khan reiterated the Commissioner of Police’s assurances, and this morning traffic operations have beefed up as spot checks, and awareness was conducted to drivers and all road users on the importance of being safe.
