Fiji Police Chief Operations Officer and Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu has confirmed that the passenger of the taxi that was hit by a bus at the Matanikorovatu junction yesterday was treated at the hospital and later sent home.

The accident occurred at around 6pm yesterday.

He is advising all drivers that there will be a lot of movement on our roads and is calling on them to take extra precautions due to the mass movement of people and unfavourable weather conditions.
