The father of 17 year old Aryan Narayan whose body was found in Rewa River this morning says they are shattered to hear the news of their only child’s loss.
Nitesh Narayan who resides in Wainibokasi, Nausori says Aryan wanted to eat chicken curry on Tuesday morning and had gone to a nearby shop at around 11am to buy a chicken.
He says Aryan failed to return home.
Aryan was a Year 11 student of Vunimono High School.
His funeral will be held tomorrow.
Police say the boy was reported missing from his Wainibokasi home on Tuesday.
The discovery was made at around 6.30 this morning. It is believed he had visible injuries on his body.
Investigations into his death is continuing.
