Some parents of Jai Narayan College have raised serious concerns as their children who go to the school are not allowed to board the school bus if they live before Nasole. They say only the students who stay between Nasole to Nausori are allowed to board the school bus while students from the other areas have to walk to the Suva Bus Stand or FNU Samabula to catch the normal buses.

The parents are concerned as there have been robberies, attacks, glue sniffing, and other crimes happening around these areas, and they prefer that their children board the school bus from school. They also say that this is affecting the students as well because they reach home late.

fijivillage News is awaiting a response from the Principal of Jai Narayan College as he is busy with the Parents Teachers Interview. We have also sent questions to the Minister for Education. He is yet to respond.
