PSH Hospitals is one of Fiji’s leading private hospitals. It aims to make quality healthcare easy to access and affordable for everyone in Fiji and the Pacific.

In recent years, PSH Hospitals has established itself as a leading private healthcare provider in Fiji, offering a comprehensive range of services from primary care to advanced specialist procedures. At the heart of the organisation lies a mission to make high-quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PSH Hospitals Parvish Kumar, explains,

“Our ultimate goal is to make medical services affordable and accessible to all members of the public not only in Fiji but the greater Pacific community.”

PSH Hospitals offers a strong foundation of primary health services including general practitioner consultations, outpatient clinics, diagnostic testing, and preventative programs.

Recognising that many people delay seeking medical attention due to financial barriers, the hospital maintains some of the lowest GP consultation fees in the country.

“We are here for everyone. All our patients, irrespective of their financial or cultural backgrounds or status in society, are important to us and we care for them all,” says Kumar.

The hospital’s 24/7 outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services ensure that patients can access care when it is needed most. Our Suva Hospitals is open 7a.m to 7p.m Monday to Sunday and our Nadi Hospital is open 24 Hours, seven days a week.

Beyond general care, PSH Hospitals provides an impressive suite of diagnostic and inpatient services from imaging and laboratory work to surgical and recovery facilities.

One of its proudest milestones was performing Fiji’s first successful open-heart surgery, conducted by an experienced Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeon Dr Sanjeev Khulbey and his medical team.

“By providing top-tier cardiac care within Fiji, we are enabling patients to receive world-class treatment without the need to travel abroad, it allows families to stay together during recovery while easing financial and emotional burdens,’’ Kumar explained.

The hospital continues to expand its specialist services, offering neurosurgery, brain-tumour surgery, urology, orthopaedics, nephrology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, open heart surgery, bypass surgery, valve replacement surgery, hernia surgery and many more. These services aim to bring advanced healthcare to the Pacific region without requiring patients to travel overseas.

What sets PSH Hospitals apart in the private healthcare sector is its unwavering focus on affordability and access. The hospital offers subsidised GP fees as low as $7.50 per consultation and free GP consultations for senior citizens aged 65 and above.

The hospital has also developed a PSH Foundation, which will provide free treatments for patients meeting specific financial criteria, a further step toward its vision of universal healthcare.

In addition, the hospital is aligning itself with medical tourism opportunities by welcoming international patients from Australia and the Pacific seeking world-class care at affordable rates.

“We want people to see Fiji not only as a place to relax, but also as a place to heal where care, compassion, and natural beauty come together,” Kumar adds.

From general medicine to complex surgical care, PSH Hospitals has set new standards in private healthcare delivery in Fiji. Guided by Parvish Kumar’s vision, the hospital continues to bridge the gap between affordability and excellence.

“We believe that no one should have to compromise on the quality of care they receive,’’ says Kumar.

With compassion, innovation, and integrity at its core, PSH Hospitals is not only transforming healthcare in Fiji, it is shaping the future of medical care across the Pacific.
