Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama stresses that leadership lacks compassion in all sectors

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama stresses that leadership lacks compassion in all sectors.

Bainimarama highlighted this while speaking to the participants of the Traditional Leadership Curriculum at the Centre for Appropriate Technology and Development in Nadave, Tailevu.

He says it is respect for leadership that drives people to excel.

Bainimarama says for people to genuinely respect their leaders, they will need to see a leader resolve disputes in a civilized manner, they will need to see that a leader focus his attention and energy on the good of the people and not on competition with others.

The Prime Minister says a real leader sets a good example and inspires people to be and to do their best by being strong and to show compassion.
