Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka has acknowledged the efforts of two young boys who showed their care towards the environment by picking up rubbish at Churchill Park in Lautoka after the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific doubleheader between the Fijian Drua and the Western Force yesterday.

13-year-old Irinimo Kautitubuna and 12-year-old Sakiusa Volotui were seen picking up rubbish under the rain after the games.

Rabuka says he admired these two heroes’ generous civic-minded actions and is certain that they would become good environment ambassadors in the future.

He says as someone passionate about environmental stewardship, to always leaves every place he visits better and cleaner if possible, he was deeply moved by the two young boys’ community spirit.

The Prime Minister is urging every parent to continue to instil these values in our children.

He also congratulated the Fijian Drua teams for the victory against the Western Force yesterday.
