Education Minister, Rosy Akbar says they have to meet with organisers and sponsors to decide whether sporting competitions for schools including the Coca-Cola Games and Deans competition will be held this year.
Akbar says given the situation that we are in, they want minimal financial constraints to be placed on schools and communities.
She adds they also do not want to deprive students of these important events as they missed out on it last year.
