Netball Fiji announces its 15-member squad to the Netball World Cup

Netball Fiji has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming Netball World Cup that will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from the 28th of July to the 6th of August.

National Coach, Unaisi Rokoura says it has been an extended selection process to ensure athletes had every opportunity to earn themselves a spot in the team.

Rokoura says she worked with the selectors and the specialist coaches, Yvette McCausland-Durie and Cathy Fellows during the trials and are happy with the attendance by the players.

She also thanked all the netball players for their commitment and effort throughout the year.

The squad selected for the Netball World Cup are:

1. Lydia Panapasa 2. Unaisi Kubunameca 3. Maliana Rusivakula 4. Jimaima Kete 5. Maria Lutua Rusivakula 6. Anaseni Nauqe 7. Elina Drikibau 8. Ana Moi 9. Ro Kalesi Tawake 10. Josephine Tabua 11. Adi Vakacegu Bolokoro 12. Kelera Nawai

Non traveling reserves:

13. Reama Verekauta 14. Avelina Navue 15. Navinia Sivo
