The Vodafone Nasinu Festival 2025 has been officially launched at Laqere Market, with festival sponsors taking a new community-focused approach.

This year, sponsors will support the entire Nasinu community rather than individual contestants.

In line with this, contestants will represent the seven wards of Nasinu: Kinoya, Valelevu, Narere, Nadawa, Makoi, Nadera, and Caubati.

Speaking at the launch, Deputy Prime Minister Professor Biman Prasad called on the public to come out in large numbers to support the queens and the important advocacy work they will lead over the next two weeks.

Professor Prasad says the participants are not just contestants, but ambassadors of their respective wards and voices of their communities.

The Vodafone Nasinu Festival 2025 will run from October 4th to October 11th.
