Naiqama and Kikau to captain Fiji Bati at the RLWC Rabele names 33 member Bati squad

Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Jo Rabele has named his 33 member squad for the 2022 Rugby League World Cup in the United Kingdom next month.

Some notable names in the side include Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau, Eels winger Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tariq and Korbin Sims, Jacob and Daniel Saifiti, Tui Kamikamica, Kevin Naiqama, Viliame Kikau and Regan Campbell Gillard.

Rabele says that Naiqama will captain the Fiji Bati while Kikau will be his assistant.

Rabele will name his final 24 member squad before the 19th of this month.

The team will assemble on the 24th of this month in Sydney before they fly out to the UK.

The Bati is pooled with the Australian Kangaroos, Italy and Scotland in Group B.

They will play a warmup match against England on October 7th.
