Nadi beats Yasawa in 1st round of Skipper Cup while Suva wins against Nadroga

It was a great start for defending Skipper Cup Champions Nadi as they thrashed Yasawa 40-17 in round 1 of games at Prince Charles Park this afternoon.

It was a close game as Tailevu narrowly edged Namosi 18-15.

The capital city side was too strong for the stallions as Suva held off a determined Nadroga side 31-17.

Naitasiri were too strong for Macuata as they beat them 29-25 in Subrail Park, Labasa this afternoon.

Coming up next week, Nadi will host Naitasiri at Prince Charles Park, Yasawa will play Suva at Churchill Park, Lautoka, Macuata will travel to Ratu Cakobau Park to play Tailevu while Namosi will host Nadroga at Thompson Park, Navua.
