Olympic gold medalist and Police officer, Waisea Nacuqu who is charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol has been released on bail by the Ba Magistrates Court.
He has been released on a bail bond of $500 and the case will be called again on 24th November.
Nacuqu was caught with another Police officer in Ba early Saturday morning.
Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho has confirmed that the other officer has been issued with a public health infringement notice.
Qiliho says both of them will undergo internal disciplinary process.
