Following concerns raised by residents of Nabekavu, Labasa regarding poor road conditions in their area, the Fiji Roads Authority says they have assessed the road and it is scheduled to happen this month.
Residents earlier said the bad road conditions caused issues like mechanical problems for vehicles and children are finding it difficult to travel to school during bad weather.
Mohammed Yaqub told fijivillage News that all it takes is a bit of rain to make the road very difficult to travel.
The FRA says works are scheduled for roads including Delaikoro Road and culvert roads at Yadigi in Labasa.
