As part of the Fiji Airways’ continued partnership with the NRL for the highly anticipated Rugby League Las Vegas 2025, the airline, for the second consecutive year, brought a historic sporting moment to its guests, with the coveted NRL Provan-Summons Trophy once again on display at the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge at Nadi International Airport, alongside for the first time, the Women’s Pacific Cup.

The prestigious trophies will be showcased for guests traveling through the Lounge.

Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Andre Viljoen says the return of the NRL Trophy to Fiji reinforces the airline’s commitment to bringing the NRL closer to its passionate Fijian fans.

Viljoen says the Provan-Summons Trophy is one of the most iconic symbols in rugby league, and they are thrilled to once again host it in their Premier Lounge.

He says this is a special opportunity for their guests to witness a piece of NRL history up close.

The Provan-Summons Trophy and the Women’s Pacific Cup, last won by the Jillaroos at the Pacific Championships Final in November 2024, will both be on display at the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge until the 6th of March 2025.

Viljoen further says with their expanding network, including direct flights to major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas, Fiji Airways is connecting more travelers to key sporting events like Rugby League Las Vegas 2025.

He says their Premier Lounge is designed to offer guests an elevated travel experience, and what better way to complement that than by displaying some of rugby league’s most prestigious trophies.

He adds that Fiji Airways’ commitment to rugby league reflects their deep passion for the sport, and they take great pride in supporting rugby league and the athletes who showcase their talents on the global stage.

Viljoen says as an official partner of Rugby League Las Vegas 2025, they are excited to continue their role in this thrilling event, where top teams will compete at Allegiant Stadium this month.
