More than 3,000 tourists have arrived in the country on the cruise ship, Celebrity Eclipse.

Following its stop at the Suva port, the Celebrity Eclipse is making another stop at the Lautoka port today before leaving Fiji.

Dwayne Daniel from Jamaica says the city setting in Suva is the same as his home country.

President of Fijian Craft and Tourist Guide, Apakuki Tabuakuro says he has been in the tourism industry for more than 30 years, and it has a good working environment compared to others.

He says the dress style and communication is key to attracting tourists to buy the handicraft and artwork they sell.

Tabuakuro says running a business and dealing with tourists is not an easy job since their earnings drastically fell when COVID-19 struck the country.
