People living in the low lying areas have been advised to take precautions as more rain is expected from today.
Nadi Weather Office Director, Rajendra Prasad said rain bands are developing again and this is mainly occurring in the western and northern divisions.
Prasad cautions that the situation will worsen as we move further into the day and tonight.
More than 6,000 people are still being accommodated at the evacuation centres and DISMAC is hoping that the situation improves due to the large number of evacuees.
Dobui said more evacuation centres were activated for Nausori and the Rewa Delta area this morning - 15 were activated for Rewa and 3 for Nausori due to flood waters in many areas in Rewa.
Dobui said they are also concerned about Nadi as rain continues in the area. DISMAC is mindful of the high tide which is expected at 7:21 tonight.
Families Plead For Assistance
Families in flood hit areas in Lokia and Nakaikogo in Rewa are now pleading for assistance from the authorities as they have no food or clean drinking water.

Nausori Command Centre, Corporal Alexander Naisaboca has confirmed that right now in Nukutubu Rewa, 15 houses are under water, Drekena Village, 15 houses are also under water and they are using seven double storey houses as evacuation centres,
Naisaboca said in Nabua village 6 houses are underwater,in Nasali village 5 houses and those that have been evacuated are using the Nabua village community hall for shelter.
He adds Navuso village underwater while in Dravuya, 12 houses are underwater.
Naisaboca said the whole of the Rewa Delta, Nakelo, Kiuva and Buretu are currently without power. He also said those sheltered at Naikaikogo Indian School, LDS are running out of food and will need assistance adding they have sent their request to DISMAC Nausori.
As water levels recede slowly in the Nausori area, people are still taking shelter at two evacuation centers.
Nausori Mayor Jagdish Bali said assistance is being provided to the people taking shelter at the evacuation centers.
He confirms that the town is open for business.
The Nausori Airport remains closed until further notice. This has also been confirmed by Airports Fiji Limited Nausori Manager Timoci Ravanua, who said while water outside the terminal is receding they will not open the airport just yet. Ravanua said this was decided at a meeting to ensure the safety of passengers and pilots.
On to Nadi,
While evacuation centres have posed as temporary relief with shelter and food for those affected by the current adverse weather conditions, people sheltered at the St Andrews School in Nadi have been without food since Friday.
This has been confirmed by Ponipate Lesavua who said this situation needs to be looked into immediately.
Lesavua adds they are once again experiencing heavy rain again in Nadi.
The Commissioner Western who is currently in a meeting is expected to comment on the situation later.
Meanwhile, the Nadi Mayor, Timoci Koroiqica is requesting people not to come to Nadi town as it is causing a major traffic jam.
Koroiqica said PWD workers are currently working on the Namotomoto Rd which is currently closed to all traffic and people are being urged not to come towards the Town area.
A Nadi Resident who just returned from Lautoka said the weather condition has changed rapidly and it has started to pour heavily.
Rajesh Bala who moved to Nadi 24 years ago said he never experienced or expected a flooding of this kind.
The Queens Highway is now open from Suva to Nadi.
Works Ministry Spokesperson, Sainiana Waqainabete confirms that the Kings Highway will remain closed until Wednesday.
No water In Ba Mission Hospital
To Ba, There is no water at the Ba Mission Hospital for patients and staff.
Former MP and Rarawai resident Gaffar Ahmed has called on the PWD to provide water supply as soon as possible .
He adds that about 800 houses in the interior of Ba have been badly affected by the flood and has called on authorities to help people.
The Ba Town Council has made arrangements with individuals to provide drinking water in Ba.
Mayor Praveen Bala said people can only get drinking water from some areas in and outside town.
Meanwhile, Lalisha Mohammed who runs Lally's Fashion in Ba located opposite the Ba Mosque said everything in her shop has been damaged and is finding difficulties in cleaning up as there is also no supply of water or electricity.
Prepare For Shortage Of Supply
On to Sigatoka, Markets around Fiji which rely heavily on the products from the Sigatoka Valley will have to be prepared for a shortage of supply.
Former Interim Minister, Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi who hails from Waya Village on the banks of the Sigatoka river said the damage done by the floods to the farms is unbelievable.
Vayeshnoi said to the farmers the only things that matter to them at the moment is to put food on the table for their families.
Dairy farmers in the Tailevu, Naitasiri and Rewa areas are losing alot in income everyday with milking stopped, livestock moved and some dead as a result of the floods.
Spokesperson Vijendra Prakash said they are really making a loss and suffering.
Insurance Houses Urged To Assist Businesses
Fiji Retailers Association has urged insurance houses to assist businesses in the Western Division which have been badly affected by flood waters.
Fiji Retailers Association President Himmat Lodhia said he has spoken to some of the business owners who say that they have lost 100 percent of their belongings.
