Jasmine Daunakamakama has won Team Fiji's second medal at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games after claiming bronze in the Women's 57kg boxing division.

Daunakamakama's impressive run came to an end in the semi-finals after she lost 5-0 to Northern Ireland's Michaela Walsh.

Despite the defeat, reaching the semi-finals guaranteed her a place on the podium with a bronze medal.

In Lawn Bowls, in the Women's Singles Sectional, Elizabeth Moceiwai was beaten 1.5–0.5 by Namibia's Diana Viljoen in her latest match. She will be back in action at 4.50am tomorrow, where she will face Kenya's Eunice Wambui Mbugua.

Fiji's Men's Pairs Sectional team lost to Tonga after a closely contested match and will next take on Northern Ireland at 10.20pm tonight.

Attention will also turn to the athletics track tomorrow morning, where long distance runner Yeshnil Karan will line up in the Men's 5,000m final, which gets under way at 6.45am, as he looks to finish his campaign on a strong note.

Meanwhile, Australia continues its dominant performance at the Commonwealth Games, leading the medal tally with 55 gold, 28 silver and 42 bronze medals.

England is second with 17 gold, 32 silver and 29 bronze medals while Canada is third with 17 gold, 14 silver and 20 bronze medals, while .
