WOWS Kids Fiji will receive $10,000 worth of funding from the Ministry for Women, Children and Social Protection.

Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya has announced this during the launch of International Childhood Cancer Month, this morning.

Tabuya says she understands that the amount is not sufficient for the work carried out by the organisation but this is just a start as they will continue to show their support for the children.

She says they are also working closely with WOWS to raise awareness of the symptoms of early childhood cancer as the ministry wants to make a difference in the lives of the families.

She also acknowledged the parents, guardians and healthcare professionals for the vital role that they play in improving the lives of the children.
