Leone Vurukania.

Leone Vurukania is helping people break the cycle of poverty in their lives by assisting them in securing Government scholarships.

Not one to let the financial struggles of his family dull his dream of becoming a university graduate, Leone, himself the recipient of a government scholarship, recognised from an early age that tertiary education provides the platform needed to change generational poverty.

When he is not attending classes, the final year University of Fiji student is helping young people in his community secure their own futures, by walking them through the sometimes daunting task of applying for the scholarships available to them.
