Former Glasgow Warriors halfback and Bath bound Nikola Matawalu says he is ready to represent Fiji in the Rugby World Cup which kicks off in Twickenham this Saturday.
Matawalu’s team mate, Nemani Nadolo says Matawalu is expected to light up this year’s World Cup.
In a light hearted interview, Nadolo also asked Matawalu about his plans in the World Cup.
England are overwhelming favourites to start the tournament they are hosting with a victory but Fiji are unbeaten since losing narrowly losing to Wales at the Millennium Stadium last November and have spent the summer in camp, winning the Pacific Nations Cup after overcoming Samoa in the final.
Matawalu says this is a better prepared Fiji team than ever before.
Matawalu says they respect all the teams in their pool, but when it comes to the games, it will be a different story altogether.
Fiji will take on England in the opening match of the Rugby World Cup at 7am this Saturday.
