Marama Cup: Namosi currently lead Suva 24-14 at half time

The Namosi Women's Rugby side are leading Suva 24-14 in the Subrails Marama Cup final.

Suva started strong, scoring the first try to Teresia Matea in the 6th minute to give them a 7-0 lead.

Namosi responded with a try to Rusila Nagasau and Ivamere Rokowati to put them in a 12-7 lead.

Namosi continued to put pressure on Suva but their defence held on, but Suva managed to put on a brilliant play sending Livia Naicebe for the try line.

Meanwhile, Namosi rallied back and scored another two tries through Rokowati and Josivini Neihamu to put Namosi in a 24-14 lead at halftime.

In other matches today, Naitasiri will take on Nadi at 1pm in the U20 final and Naitasiri will face Malolo at 3pm in the Skipper Cup final.
