The Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs Selai Adimaitoga says many Opposition Members are spreading lies that is causing division amongst people and victimizing the iTaukei.

While responding to Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s 2021/2022 National Budget address, Adimaitoga says these are dangerous and irresponsible lies that MP’s like Viliame Gavoka, Lynda Tabuya and Professor Biman Prasad continue to spread.

She says when they realize that their lies about the budget would not work, the Opposition went to their usual racist politics.

Adimaitoga says she was shocked when she saw Tabuya’s video about Bill No.17.

She says Tabuya divided the people in a time when unity is so important.

Adimaitoga says right after that she was also shocked to see other members of SODELPA and NFP spread these lies.

She says the Members of the Opposition have something personal against the Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and they are jealous of his intelligence.

Adimaitoga says she has never seen any of the Opposition MPs come up with good ideas and smart ways to implement them.

She says maybe this is why Tabuya continues to target the AG because they are bush lawyers who cannot understand simple things.
