Man in custody for allegedly breaking into the Speaker's office

A 19-year old man who allegedly broke into the Speaker's office and ransacked it is currently in police custody.

Police say the man was brought in by a concerned member of the public and they appreciate the support and cooperation shown.

The incident occurred sometime between the 3rd and 5th of this month.

Police say the break-in was discovered when a staff member came to open the office on Monday however nothing was reported missing.
